Age: 34 Occupation: I was a Bank Manager for ANZ, I'm currently building a beach volleyball centre on the Sunshine Coast and semi pro soccer player for the Sunshine Coast Fire in the Queensland State League. What is your greatest 'adventure' (or extreme sports) achievement? Why? I would have to say travelling all over Fraser Island, it is an amazing experience and feels like the first time every time. What do you believe will be your strongest leg & why; trail run, mountain bike, 4WD, poker? The trail run, I think that I should do well in this event as we are half way through the soccer season and my fitness is pretty good. On a scale of 1 to 10 how would you rate your current level of fitness? I think that my level of fitness would be around 8 or 9. Why did you enter the Men's Challenge? I entered the Men's Health Challenge as I love to be tested in these type of events and testing my ability against other competitors. If you were forced to give up all your gadgets bar one, what would it be and why? I would think that my phone is the one thing that I would have to keep as this way I can still keep in touch with all my family and friends. What would you cook a woman to impress her on a first date? I would love to say some sort of fancy dish but to tell you the truth i can't remember tha last time I cooked dinner, so I would have to say that I'd take her to a nice restaurant. What's the most fun you've had on four wheels? This is without a doubt the trips to Fraser and Double Island you can never have too much fun, there is just something about driving on the beach. What are you thinking about when you've got your poker face on? The biggest thing going through my mind is that I hope that I'm not showing that I've got a pair of kings with a little smile on my face. I find it hard to keep the poker face with or without the perfect hand. Who is your favourite superhero and why? Superman, because I love all the powers he has and that he could beat any other superhero, hands down. What does confidence mean to you? To me confidence is to have the ability to know that you can do what you need to do to get the job done. To be able to show your competitor that you are not afraid of their ability and that you know you have what it takes to beat them. Do you have any career aspirations? My aspirations in my career is to enjoy the job that I do and to do it well, if you are passionate about the work you do you are more likely to succeed. |
